Triple Threat.

I am definitely one of those people that is completely drawn in by colour, it doesn't matter what it is, if its bright I will buy it. Hence my purchase of the Sigma Creme De Couture Palette. When will I ever be able to pull off yellow eye shadow? Never I'm sure! But I had to get my hands on it nonetheless. The same goes for these gorgeous Sleek blush by 3 palettes. The colour's are so gorgeous that I had to buy four of them! What can I say? I cant help myself!

These palettes are rich in pigment and have colour's to rival any top beauty brand. Whats not to love about that? The first one I picked up was from the Candy Collection aptly named Sweet Cheeks and is perhaps my most favourite of all four palettes. It consist of one cream blush and two powder blushes as do most of the palettes apart from

Sweet Cheeks: L-R Cupcake, Dollymix, CandyFloss

Lace: L-R Chantilly, Guipure, Crochet

Pink Lemonade: L-R Pink Mint, Macaroon, Icing Sugar

Californ.I.A: L-R OC, The Surf, Newport Peach

As you can see from the swatches above the pigmentation in these blushers are amazing! For such an affordable product, this is great to see! I purchased my palettes off of the Sleek website where they are currently priced at €12.99 with 8 shades available. Eh hello? Why are you still reading this? Get buying!

Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint

Now painting my nails is sometimes an ordeal and not one I really enjoy. But lately I have been getting more and more into my nails and taking better care of them. I now use a nail strengthener, and a cuticle oil both from OPI. I can now see a huge difference in my nails after using both these products. If you would like to see a review of these leave a comment down below. Now onto the actual polishes. I had heard about these polishes a couple months ago on Zoe or Zoella's YouTube channel, and as I was in Australia I could not get them. Now that I am back home in Ireland I managed to get my hands on them. Of course, me being me, I picked up the mint/blue one.. Typical. I have been trying my best to move away from blue but I could not help myself when I spotted these two colors on the shelf. The minty blue one is called Greenberry and the more turquoise/blue one is called Guava.

They have a great range of colors from pastel pinks to lime green and pretty much everything in between. Although the colour selection is great its the formula that really makes these polishes so amazing. They are marketed as a Gel finish nail polish and they most definitely live up to the name. The polish is thick enough that one coat on the nails give complete opacity and leaves them super glossy.Though it doesn't leave them super thick like some polishes. I like to do two coats just in case and then finish with a coat of my OPI nail strengthener. One of the main reasons I hate painting my nails is they will, no joke, chip two minutes later. You can imagine the look of disgust on my face after taking the time to paint them all lovely and for them to only go and chip on me. That is why these polishes are a godsend for me. I can paint my nails and exactly 7 days later they will only start to chip on me. Its amazing! I will most definitely recommend these polishes to anyone who has the same problem with chipping as I do. They really will stay on for ever. You can pick these polishes up from any Boots or major pharmacies. They retail for around €5.99.

Have you tried these polishes? What are your thoughts? Have you ever had an actual gel manicure?

Sleek and Chic!

When these three products came through my letter box I did a little jump for joy! For months I had been wanting to pick up some new Sleek products as they are one of my all time favourite brands. I purchased these directly from the Sleek website and they arrived about three days later! Amazing! It didn't take me too long to pick out what I wanted as I had already decided months ago.

First up is the Blush by Three,  Limited Edition Candy Collection. When this product launched along with a pout paint and an eyeshadow palette I was already drooling. I knew I had to have something. Although I immediately wanted the eyeshadow palette, I knew it was just a tad unwearable, for me anyways. So instead, I opted for the blush palette. Wow. First of all the packaging. I am in love with the cupcake design. Super cute! Although it is not on the actual palette I still love it.

As you can see from the picture above, this is a bright palette. Do not be put off though, these colors can easily be toned down with a light hand and a lot of blending. My personal favourite is Dolly Mix. It is a blue toned pink, almost lilac looking and I adore it. I think it would look great on most skintones. Cupcake is the only cream blusher in the palette and it is a gorgeous bright pink, this again can be toned down. Candy Floss is described as a shimmery blush but I personally think it is more of a satin blush with a slight sheen. It is definitely not glittery in anyway. Its again, a bright pink but with more of a coral undertone to it. I cant stop looking at this palette! Such Eye Candy!

Next up is a product, that is talked about constantly. If you follow any other beauty blog then I am sure you have heard of this product. It is the Sleek Face Contour kit. DUH! I am constantly hearing good things about this product and I really have no idea why I didn't pick it up sooner?

I bought this is the light shade as I am super fair and it is the perfect color for me. Its not too orange, its not too dark but it still contours my face beautifully and I can actually use it to slightly bronze my face, and get a little color back into it. All I do to contour is take an angled brush, lightly tap it in the powder, suck in my cheeks and apply it directly to the hollow, the I blend like a mad woman! The highlighter shade in this is gorgeous. I am not a huge fan of super shimmery, make-your-face-look-like-a-disco-ball kind of highlighters and thankfully this is not one of those. It leaves a gorgeous, subtle highlight on top of your cheekbones, brow bone and your cupids bow. Love it!

Last but not least is an eyeshadow palette. I have already tried Sleeks Au Naturel Palette so I had a fair idea of the quality of their shadows, and I must say this one does not disappoint. I decided to pick up the Showstoppers Palette. Of course there are a few dud shades that are not as highly pigmented as the others such as Paraguaya and Oh So Special, but over all I think it is a great palette and wearable too.

L-R: Top Row - Paraguaya, Sunset, Me myself and eye, Bad Girl, Noir, Ultramattes V2
Bottom Row - Oh So Special, Bohemian, Storm, Sparkle, Au Natural, Graphite.

This palette contains matte shades, shimmery shades and glitter shades. The overall tone of the palette is pretty neutral with a few purple, navy and corals thrown into the mix. My favorite shade from the palette is Sparkle. Its such a gorgeous shimmery peachy shade that looks amazing all over the lid or just in the inner corner. And is it just me, or are these shadows named after other palettes? Hmm.. interesting.

L-R: Paraguaya, Sunset, Oh So Special, Bohemian
L-R: Me Myself and eye, Badgirl, Storm, Sparkle
L-R: Noir, Ultramattes V2, Au Natural, Graphite

Both the Blush by 3 Candy Collection and the Showstoppers I-divine palettes are Limited Edition so get your hands on them fast before they are gone!

Have you tried any Sleek products before? What are your thoughts on the brand?

Toni and Guy Cleanse: Shampoo for advanced Detox

We all have those days when you wash your hair and two seconds later its a greasy mess. Yes its probably our own fault loading it up with hairspray, creams, lotions and potions, but hey we need all those things! The joys of being a girl eh? So what are we supposed to do? Normal shampoos clearly are not working so something stronger is needed. This is where Toni and Guy come to the rescue. This shampoo is from the Toni and Guy Cleanse range and to be perfectly honest it really is an amazing shampoo. I use this around once a week to keep my hair looking and feeling super clean, and believe me it works.

I was worried that it may be a bit drying on my hair, but it has actually been the complete opposite. My hair feels so much better since using this product. I think that it comes down to the fact the hair is so clean, conditioner or treatments sink in better leaving it super soft. WIN! I really have no complaints about this product. I purchased it while in Australia so I am unsure of the price but I believe it is pretty affordable. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a super clarifying shampoo. I myself will definitely be checking out some more products from this range.

Johnson's Face Care, Moisturising Day Cream

Oh Hello!

Yes I know, my blog has been review crazy lately, but there is just so many great things I want to share with you guys! And next up is this Johnson's Moisturiser. Now as you may know I have combination skin. Oily in the T-zone and normal on the cheeks. Having said that I love a good moisturiser. One that leaves my skin super soft and super glowy. This product definitely delivers! Now this product is marketed as a day cream though I would recommend anyone who has anything other that normal/dry skin to only use this at night. It is a very thick moisturiser and it is too heavy to use under makeup in my opinion anyways, but to each their own.

I use this product at night and apply it over my face, neck and onto my decolletage. I wake up with plumped up and glowy skin. I will admit my skin looks a little oilier in the T-zone but that does not bother me as I always wash my face in the morning and apply my day cream after. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a good night cream. It has lasted me for ages and I still have a tonne to go! Its also pretty cheap, maybe around 5 euros? Thumbs up in my book!

Thanks for reading guys! Don't forget to comment down below andy products you would like me to try!

What is your favourite moisturiser? Do you prefer high end products of drugstore?

Who doesn't Love Inglot??

L-R: AMC Highlighting Powder 83, Eyeliner Brush 31T, Eyeshadows: 346, 334, 325, Blush: 34, Nail Polish: 390, Gel Liner: 77

AMC Highlighting Powder 83

Eyeshadows: 346, 334, 325, Blush: 34

I was recently treated by my lovely boyfriend Paul (Hi Babe :D) to a voucher to Inglot. Now I have used inglot before, we received some products with our makeup kit in college including the gel liner above. I also purchased some eyeshadows, bronzer, lipsticks etc two years ago for my kit but I have since gotten rid of a few of them (GOSHDARNIT!) So I am quite familiar with Inglot products and the quality of them. Speaking of quality, Inglot definitely delivers.

I was slightly at a loss as in to what I should pick up so as I was already familiar with the gel liner and shadows they seemed like a good bet. I chose three shades of purple eyeshadow as I mostly just wear nudes so I wanted to branch out a bit more. Become more adventurous if you will. :) I am super happy with the shades I picked out. All of them are super pigmented and are matte/satin finishes, my favourite. I have not tried the gel liner yet but speaking from the last time I used it it performed great. So more on that later.

The nail polish I picked up is of course a minty colour (if you don't already know I am OBSESSED with mint/blue/turquoise) its gorgeous. I tried it on today and it is super pigmented. Two coats and you are done! Brilliant! They had a vast range of colours, it looked like a rainbow! They have a peachy coral shade that I am dying to get! I very much love my pastels. Who doesn't?

The blush is a shimmery peachy shade, not something I would normally go for having combination skin, but the girl working there convinced me it does not really show up and s just a great natural shade on the skin. As you can see from the swatch, this too is extremely pigmented. I have not tried this yet but if you would like a review please comment below :)

The highlighter, OMG THE HIGHLIGHTER! Its incredible!! I was always slightly afraid of highlighters again because of my combination skin, but after trying this my opinion has completely changed. I love it. It looks beautiful on the cheekbones, cupids bow and of course the browbone. You just have to try it. Simple as.

If you want more in depth reviews on all these products leave you comments below letting me know and I will happily do review them for you once I have tried and tested them more.

Have you tried inglot before? If so what are your favourite products from them?

Review: Topshop Lipsticks

Confession, I am a lipstick junkie. I love them! Pinks, nudes, reds, plums, you name it I've got it. So, you can imagine my joy when I heard of Topshop's new makeup range. Yes I am late to the party on this one as I bought these lipsticks last year. (oops) But who doesn't love a good lipstick review eh? Yeah? Me neither. So I shall begin by saying these lipsticks are amazing! Being a highstreet clothing shop you would think that their makeup range would be a bit iffy, but not Topshop's. This range is amazing!(I also have a cream blusher which I will review soon) It is affordable, great quality and well worth all the hype.

These lipsticks cost around 8 or 9 euros each and you can purchase them from Topshop's website. After checking the website I am pretty sure the site ships to most countries so win win for everyone! :D I currently have four colours, Pillow Talk, Brighton Rock, Secret Admirer and Tease.

Clearly Secret Admirer would not cooperate..

Brighton Rock: This is a beautiful colour, almost a pinky red colour which I love! Its a satin/matte finish lipstick but it is not as drying as the matte lipsticks from MAC. But if is too matte for you, you can always add a gloss over top.

Tease: I don't wear this colour too often but I still think its gorgeous. Its a very blue toned pink, almost purple. This is a velvet finish shade.

Pillow Talk: This is one of my favourites. Its a light, neutral pink and looks so pretty on. Its a colour that I think will suit lots of different skin tones. Again it is another velvet finish lipstick.

Secret Admirer: I wear this colour most often as I find it just goes with almost every makeup look. Its a peachy colour and is quite similar to Pillow Talk. It's glossier than the three others and is very comfortable on the lips.

Another thing I love is the packaging! Super cute! :D

Review: Biore Triple Action Toner

Most people probably don't think much of toner. I mean its only used to take of leftover cleanser and makeup right? Wrong. What if it could do so much more? Well, I have found just the thing. I have combination to oily skin and I have always found that most toners dry out my skin even in the oily parts. I have tried Clinique toners, Simple Toners, regular Tesco brand toners and they are all the same. Until I found this one. Biore are famous for their nose pore strips (which are absolutely amazing). I have used these for years so I am pretty familiar with the brand. They have recently changed their packaging to blue and white and they have also colour coded their product to help you find exactly what you need. Orange - Complexion Clearing, Blue - Deep Cleansing, Pink - Makeup Removing, and Teal - Nourishing Care.

This toner is oil free, does not clog pores, it also contains witch hazel which soothes the skin. I use this product morning and night. I simply apply it to a cotton pad and wipe over my face and neck (yes neck) avoiding the eye area. I can see all the dirt it has removed and it leaves my skin feeling super clean and fresh. It does not leave it feeling dry, but it does remove shine (Yay!). I follow up with a light moisturizer and carry on with my makeup for the day.

I highly recommend this product for quality and also affordability. It retails in Australia for around $8 but I have also seen it on offer for about $5. Bargain! I have also been using their Warming Anti Blackhead Cleanser and I will have a review up soon.

What are your favourite toners? Let me know what your favourite skincare brands are and why you love them.

Chocolate Skin..

Everyone loves super soft skin and I am pretty sure I have found just the thing for that! As it is coming into winter here in Australia, moisturizing your skin becomes extra important. Now I am aware it does not get that cold here in OZ (Not compared to Ireland anyways) but it does get chilly. Going from hot to cold weather and from outdoors into air conditioning can really have an effect on your skin. When I first arrived here I noticed my skin had dried out from the recycled air on the plane ride over (27 hours in total!!) and I needed to fix that. I started using this Vaseline Total Moisture in Cocoa Glow. This product claims to be a '24hr nourishing lotion for soft and glowing skin', and it does just that! I apply this after my morning shower and still feel it on my skin that night. It does not leave you feeling sticky, but moisturised. This stuff also smells like heaven. It contains pure cocoa butter and smells like a chocolate dream. Yummy! It says it is a lotion but to be honest it feels more like a body butter but not super heavy.

This comes in three different types. Aloe Fresh, Dry Skin and Cocoa Glow. I have yet to try any others but I can tell you I most definitely be picking them up in the future.I am not too sure on the price but as its Vaseline it is pretty affordable!

What is your favourite body lotion? How do you deal with dry skin?

The best makeup remover in the world. Seriously!

One of the most annoying tasks us girls have to do is removing makeup. Sigh.. This can sometimes bring us to tears (Literally). The daunting task or removing waterproof eyeliner/mascara, making sure your skin is completely clean so your pores aren't clogged up. Phew I am tired just thinking about it! Well I'm going to let you all in on a little secret beauty weapon of mine. The Garnier Clean Sensitive, 2 in 1 Makeup Remover for Sensitive skin. I'll be honest, this thing is a beast. Its so good it could probably clean anything! I have been using this for around a year now and I honestly could not live without it. I start getting anxious if this is near the end and I have to run out a grab a new one. That's love right there. So what is this little gem anyways I hear you ask? Well its actually just one of those cleansers that you have to shake to mix the oil and water together. Lancome have one which I believe is called Bi facil? Correct me if I'm wrong, I never did French! So basically you shake it up, apply some to a cotton pad, sweep over your face and Bobs your uncle!(Hi Bob!) It really is that simple! Eye makeup doesn't stand a chance anymore!

It is perfect for sensitive skin as it is enriched with plant extracts and vitamin B5. It is also fragrance free and alcohol free. I don't find this stings my eyes if I get some in them. It doesn't irritate my face like some cleansers as I don't have to tug at my face. The way I like to use it is to get a baby wipe and take the bulk of my makeup off (so much faster this way) I then grab a cotton pad, apply this to it and sweep over my face and eyes making sure all mascara and eyeliner residue is gone. It says that this leaves your skin residue free which is not the case, as its an oil it leaves a light film on the skin but I just follow up with my Biore toner as normal and moisturize so no big deal. And if you are wondering will this be good for oily skins, I think it would as I have combination skin and I have had no problem with this product whatsoever. This retails in Australia for around $9 something and I believe it costs in or around 5-6 euros in Ireland. It is inexpensive and worth every penny.

Have you guys tried this product before? What did you think? What is your holy grail product?

Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipsticks

One of my favorite makeup items has to be lipstick. I adore the stuff. Mac, Revlon, Sleek any brand of lipstick will catch my eye and I will have to try it. I recently stumbled upon these Kate Moss for Rimmel lipsticks on one of many ventures to Boots. (I should be their mascot at this stage). I had heard some great things about these lipsticks from reading other blogs or watching reviews online. So, naturally, I was interested. There are nine shades in this collection but the first two I picked up were 05 and 20.

05 is the most natural of the three colors I own. Its what I would describe as a cherry pink colour. Its super pigmented as you can see from the swatches above. 20 is a bright fuschia pink which I love wearing on nights out if I don't feel like going to heavy on my eyes. Again this is a very pigmented lipstick. 04 has to be my favorite out of all three. It is a dark plum color, very vampy and very on trend at the moment. I don't actually follow trends and when I find one I like I usually wear it until I move onto something new. Vampy lips has to be one of my all time faves. I find these dark colours to be more flattering on my skin tone as I am very fair.

As you can see from the swatches, all three are pigmented. They are also not matte, but not too glossy either. None of these have any shimmer in them, which is a plus for me as I hate shimmery lipsticks. They retail in Boots for around €7 which I think is bargainous considering the quality. They are also €11 cheaper than a MAC lipstick. BARGAIN. Rimmel also have other Kate Moss lipsticks in red packaging. These are matte lipsticks which I have yet to try.

So if you find yourself wandering around your local pharmacy/drugstore (or boots in my case)pick up one of these lipsticks and I guarantee you will not be dissapointed.

The best shampoo and conditioner.

Hey guys so I decided to write a quick review on my favorite shampoo and conditioner from Cien at Lidl. Now these are not the fanciest products in the world but they are amazing. Lets start with the shampoo. The shampoo claims to nourish and protect colored and damaged hair. It also claims to enhance the color of your hair without weighing it down. Completely true. This shampoo makes my hair so clean and shiny without horrible product build up. It leaves it feeling light and bouncy as though I had just been to the hairdressers. Always a winner in my book. Its also cheap as chips retailing at about €1 something? Maybe less. For that price you get an amazing 300ml of product which lasts a very long time I must say. It also leaves your hair smelling slightly fruity.

The conditioner basically does the same as the shampoo but it really makes your hair super soft and shiny. I find this conditioner very nourishing on my hair but it doesn't take forever to wash out like some other conditioners. I also find that when I use these together it takes much less time to dry my hair afterwards. Brilliant as I have very thick, long hair. The conditioner is also the same price and the same amount of product. I really have nothing bad to say about these products. They have ones for specific types of hair such as damaged, normal, oily etc. The only downside with these would be availability. I am not too sure if Lidl is located in every country but it is widely available in Ireland and the UK.

I hope you guys like this post and if you do get your hands on these products let me know your thoughts on them down below.

Mini Penneys Haul.

Finally I am back. I am aware that I have been a bit AWOL recently, but I haven't really been interested in blogging too much and I have just been happy reading other peoples blogs. I am back though and I am hoping that I will keep up the blogging as I do want to get back into it. So the first thing I decided I would write about was the items I have recently purchased from Penneys (Primark). I have not been in Penneys in ages and I was so excited to go there yesterday afternoon. I had imagined all the amazing new stock they would have in, new clothes, shoes, jewellery! Alas this was not the case. I felt I had seen everything before, the jewelery has been the same for about three months now. Dissapointed. I did manage to find a few nice things though, and even one from the mens section. Whenever I am in Penneys I always always start in the shoe section. Now as its summer time (I have yet to see any sun) there is a tonne of cute flip flops and sandals stacked high on the shelves of Penneys. The first thing I picked up were these shoes. So. Freaking. Cute.

These are possibly my all time favourite shoes this year. I love the colour and the print is so Cath Kidston and I absolutely love it. And the best part is they were only four euro :) BARGAIN. The next two items I picked up were hoodies. I adore wearing hoodies on a daily basis to keep my self warm during those chilly days in Ireland and when im having a lazy day in with my boyfriend. The first one I picked up was a navy speckled one from the mens section. It was only €14. I was instantly drawn to it as it reminded me of the American Apparel hoodies that cost of this one.I love it.

The second hoodie I picked up is my fave. Its such a nice colour and so summery that I had to have it. It was only a bargainous €10. Love it!

Next up I purchased a pyjamas set. Its basically a shorts and vest combo in the nicest colour ever. I picked this up because in July I will be going on a mini break with my boyfriend to the beach so decided these would be perfect. I especially love the cute saying on the front.

Last but not least was this handbag. I was in need of a new handbag in a neutral shade as I had never purchased one before. This is one of my favorite types of handbags, the ones with short handles and a long strap. Super cute I must say. I decided to pick it up in this grey shade as I thought it would stay cleaner longer than the cream version they had. This handbag was only €11 which was not too expensive. I think I will get great wear out of this and I am sure it will go with absolutely everything.

A closer look at the gold detailing on the bag.

So there you have it. All of my purchases from Penneys. Nothing too exciting but still some cute pieces. Hope you enjoyed reading and I will try my best to keep posting. :) BTW excuse the picture layout and writing being messed up I cannot fix it.. :(
