Review: Biore Triple Action Toner

Most people probably don't think much of toner. I mean its only used to take of leftover cleanser and makeup right? Wrong. What if it could do so much more? Well, I have found just the thing. I have combination to oily skin and I have always found that most toners dry out my skin even in the oily parts. I have tried Clinique toners, Simple Toners, regular Tesco brand toners and they are all the same. Until I found this one. Biore are famous for their nose pore strips (which are absolutely amazing). I have used these for years so I am pretty familiar with the brand. They have recently changed their packaging to blue and white and they have also colour coded their product to help you find exactly what you need. Orange - Complexion Clearing, Blue - Deep Cleansing, Pink - Makeup Removing, and Teal - Nourishing Care.

This toner is oil free, does not clog pores, it also contains witch hazel which soothes the skin. I use this product morning and night. I simply apply it to a cotton pad and wipe over my face and neck (yes neck) avoiding the eye area. I can see all the dirt it has removed and it leaves my skin feeling super clean and fresh. It does not leave it feeling dry, but it does remove shine (Yay!). I follow up with a light moisturizer and carry on with my makeup for the day.

I highly recommend this product for quality and also affordability. It retails in Australia for around $8 but I have also seen it on offer for about $5. Bargain! I have also been using their Warming Anti Blackhead Cleanser and I will have a review up soon.

The best makeup remover in the world. Seriously!

One of the most annoying tasks us girls have to do is removing makeup. Sigh.. This can sometimes bring us to tears (Literally). The daunting task or removing waterproof eyeliner/mascara, making sure your skin is completely clean so your pores aren't clogged up. Phew I am tired just thinking about it! Well I'm going to let you all in on a little secret beauty weapon of mine. The Garnier Clean Sensitive, 2 in 1 Makeup Remover for Sensitive skin. I'll be honest, this thing is a beast. Its so good it could probably clean anything! I have been using this for around a year now and I honestly could not live without it. I start getting anxious if this is near the end and I have to run out a grab a new one. That's love right there. So what is this little gem anyways I hear you ask? Well its actually just one of those cleansers that you have to shake to mix the oil and water together. Lancome have one which I believe is called Bi facil? Correct me if I'm wrong, I never did French! So basically you shake it up, apply some to a cotton pad, sweep over your face and Bobs your uncle!(Hi Bob!) It really is that simple! Eye makeup doesn't stand a chance anymore!

It is perfect for sensitive skin as it is enriched with plant extracts and vitamin B5. It is also fragrance free and alcohol free. I don't find this stings my eyes if I get some in them. It doesn't irritate my face like some cleansers as I don't have to tug at my face. The way I like to use it is to get a baby wipe and take the bulk of my makeup off (so much faster this way) I then grab a cotton pad, apply this to it and sweep over my face and eyes making sure all mascara and eyeliner residue is gone. It says that this leaves your skin residue free which is not the case, as its an oil it leaves a light film on the skin but I just follow up with my Biore toner as normal and moisturize so no big deal. And if you are wondering will this be good for oily skins, I think it would as I have combination skin and I have had no problem with this product whatsoever. This retails in Australia for around $9 something and I believe it costs in or around 5-6 euros in Ireland. It is inexpensive and worth every penny.

Australia

As most of you know, I have recently moved to Australia (hence my lack of posting ;/) and I have been settling in pretty well. We are staying with my aunt and uncle in their house in Adelaide. I have to say our experience has not been amazing so far. As it is a working holiday visa we are on, in order to get our second year we must do three months regional work in Australia (eg farming, construction etc.)This has caused us a bit of stress as the farming work depends on what season it is (eg grape picking, apples etc) This does not make it easy to find let me tell you. In saying that though, we have gotten a job offer to work on a pear farm picking and packing them. The excitement! (LOL) Another thing that has stressed us is money. Oh my god is Australia expensive. I cant find anything here that's a reasonable price. We also had to buy a car to get around and to get to work. STRESS.COM Phew. I am tired just thinking about it all. In saying that though, we have had amazing experiences here such as my first time holding a koala. So cute! We also got to walk around and feed the kangaroos at Gorge Wildlife Park which was just amazing. I fell in love with a tiny albino one.

We had rented a car at the beginning which meant we were able to head down to the beach. The beaches here are incredible. White sand, warm clear blue water, it was just amazing! I will add a few pictures down below! The weather has been nice here but as it is coming into winter it has not been too warm lately, but still sunny which I love! I also Celebrated my 21st birthday out here on the 1st of April (April Fools :)) I did not want a party or anything so my boyfriend brought me to a gold star cinema which was amazing! Oh my god! They bring you in, take your food order from their amazing(fancy) menu, then bring you in to your seats which are huge comfy recliners, wow. They then bring out the food you've ordered at the times you have specified during the movie. Pure luxury. We ordered our drinks and a carnival platter which consists of fries, mini burgers, onion rings etc and also a dessert platter which was amazing! Lindt chocolate on everything! :D I was truly blown away! It is extremely pricey at around $200, but I guess it depends on the food you order. All in all it was an amazing experience to have as cinemas like these really do not exist in Ireland (or at least I haven't heard of them)Speaking of cinemas that don't exist in Ireland, we also had two other cinema experiences while being here. First we went to a drive through cinema, which was amazing to us as we had only ever seen these in movies! You just drive in, go get some snacks, tune the radio to the correct station and hey presto! Cinema from your car! The next one we went to was the cutest, most relaxing thing ever. It was an outdoor cinema, which only runs for a certain period of time until it gets too cold I think. It was pretty quiet when we got there which is what I loved because it just made it more relaxing. There was a big screen with speakers beside it, fairy lights in the trees, a huge tent on the grass you could sit under in case of rain,heaters spread over the lawn and a lovely woman taking drink orders. It was fabulous I must say! If you are wondering what films we went to see, in the gold class cinema we went to see the new GI Joe movie (AMAZING)in the drive through we saw The incredible Burt Wonderstone(MEH)and in the little outdoor one they were shoeing the old Willy Wonka and the chocolate factory (CLASSIC) So although things have been tough I am enjoying myself here, I just cannot wait to get back to Ireland (and to Penneys/Primark for some serious shopping)but if all goes to plan we should be back for Christmas at least.

I hope this was an interesting post to you guys, I hope to start getting into blogging more now and hopefully getting back into making videos again! :) Really excited about that as I have big plans for the future!

The Big Move.

As I have mentioned before myself and my boyfriend are moving abroad. At first we were meant to move to Canada but due to ridiculous reasons that all changed. We still plan on eventually heading over there but for now we are moving Down Under, and I couldn't be happier. Being a cold blooded creature myself, the warm sunny beaches of Australia always appealed to me. It had been our first choice, and as I had family down over there, it made perfect sense. We are leaving in no less than ten days and I couldn't be more excited. I have my camera ready for action and no doubt I will be photographing everything in sight!

To be perfectly honest I am not one bit worried or anxious about this huge move. The only thing stressing me out is if my suitcase will be overweight! (I need ten pairs of shoes ok!)Other than that it really hasn't hit me yet. Anyways we will be back in August for my boyfriends exam so no big deal really. :) We are heading to Adelaide first, as that is where my family live and then we will be moving on after six months.

I cannot wait to see my family and my cousins again but the thing I am most looking forward to is holding a Koala! I love them! I am however, a little anxious about the snakes and such.. Knowing my luck Ill manage to find them wherever I am. Saint Patrick I need your help!

This is turning out to be quite a rambly post altogether which, if I am honest, are my favourite kind to write. They are way more relaxing and I can open up a bit more about the things going on in my life at the moment, and let you all have a sneak peek into my weird world. :)

I have a few reviews lines up on things I have been trying out but if I am not on this for a while, bear in mind I am probably sunbathing. :)
