Clear : Conditioner Review

Have you ever found a product and just thought 'WOW, I have to tell people about this'. That exactly how I feel about this conditioner. This stuff is amazing. I first heard about it this brand from Holly from Hollyannaeree and really wanted to try it, but as its not readily available in Ireland I couldn't. Until I came to Australia and found it! Delira! I decided to pick up the conditioner as I am not that fussy about shampoos. I have super dry hair and need a really great conditioner to keep it soft and shiny. It is a very different conditioner in the way that you apply it to your scalp. Strange I know! But it does not make your hair greasy whatsoever. The theory behind this is that hair grows from your scalp, so you should be taking care of it to make sure hair grows glossy and soft. I completely agree as it makes perfect sense! It really makes a huge differance to the way your hair feels. Stronger, shinier, full of life. What's not to love?

I am currently reviewing two other conditioners right now but I will definitely be repurchasing this when I am finished. I also want to try out more products from the line such as the ultra shea products.

What are your favourite conditioners?
Have you found any hair care products that have wowed you?

Chocolate Skin..

Everyone loves super soft skin and I am pretty sure I have found just the thing for that! As it is coming into winter here in Australia, moisturizing your skin becomes extra important. Now I am aware it does not get that cold here in OZ (Not compared to Ireland anyways) but it does get chilly. Going from hot to cold weather and from outdoors into air conditioning can really have an effect on your skin. When I first arrived here I noticed my skin had dried out from the recycled air on the plane ride over (27 hours in total!!) and I needed to fix that. I started using this Vaseline Total Moisture in Cocoa Glow. This product claims to be a '24hr nourishing lotion for soft and glowing skin', and it does just that! I apply this after my morning shower and still feel it on my skin that night. It does not leave you feeling sticky, but moisturised. This stuff also smells like heaven. It contains pure cocoa butter and smells like a chocolate dream. Yummy! It says it is a lotion but to be honest it feels more like a body butter but not super heavy.

This comes in three different types. Aloe Fresh, Dry Skin and Cocoa Glow. I have yet to try any others but I can tell you I most definitely be picking them up in the future.I am not too sure on the price but as its Vaseline it is pretty affordable!

What is your favourite body lotion? How do you deal with dry skin?

Thirty day WHAT!?

Yes. I Louise Quigley shall be attempting the Thirty day squat challenge. What is wrong with me I hear you all shout? I want a nice ass that's what. One of my favourite things to do is scroll through instagram looking up health and fitness pages, how to eat well etc etc and I came across this challenge. Now. I personally love squats, they hurt like hell but so worth it. So when I saw this I thought to myself, "hmm that could be fun" or it might not. Hahah either way if I complete it I might see some results. I am currently on day three of this challenge, but I had started doing my own squats 2 days prior. The first two three days hurt but today I feel fine! Maybe I should do a few extra throughout the day for added benefit.

Have any of you guys tried this challenge before? Is there any other challenges you have heard of? If so comment down below because I would love to try some other ones. Also if you know of any great health and fitness blogs could you leave them down below too.

Thanks guys :)

The best makeup remover in the world. Seriously!

One of the most annoying tasks us girls have to do is removing makeup. Sigh.. This can sometimes bring us to tears (Literally). The daunting task or removing waterproof eyeliner/mascara, making sure your skin is completely clean so your pores aren't clogged up. Phew I am tired just thinking about it! Well I'm going to let you all in on a little secret beauty weapon of mine. The Garnier Clean Sensitive, 2 in 1 Makeup Remover for Sensitive skin. I'll be honest, this thing is a beast. Its so good it could probably clean anything! I have been using this for around a year now and I honestly could not live without it. I start getting anxious if this is near the end and I have to run out a grab a new one. That's love right there. So what is this little gem anyways I hear you ask? Well its actually just one of those cleansers that you have to shake to mix the oil and water together. Lancome have one which I believe is called Bi facil? Correct me if I'm wrong, I never did French! So basically you shake it up, apply some to a cotton pad, sweep over your face and Bobs your uncle!(Hi Bob!) It really is that simple! Eye makeup doesn't stand a chance anymore!

It is perfect for sensitive skin as it is enriched with plant extracts and vitamin B5. It is also fragrance free and alcohol free. I don't find this stings my eyes if I get some in them. It doesn't irritate my face like some cleansers as I don't have to tug at my face. The way I like to use it is to get a baby wipe and take the bulk of my makeup off (so much faster this way) I then grab a cotton pad, apply this to it and sweep over my face and eyes making sure all mascara and eyeliner residue is gone. It says that this leaves your skin residue free which is not the case, as its an oil it leaves a light film on the skin but I just follow up with my Biore toner as normal and moisturize so no big deal. And if you are wondering will this be good for oily skins, I think it would as I have combination skin and I have had no problem with this product whatsoever. This retails in Australia for around $9 something and I believe it costs in or around 5-6 euros in Ireland. It is inexpensive and worth every penny.

Have you guys tried this product before? What did you think? What is your holy grail product?

I smell like an Alien??

Have you ever wanted your own signature scent? Something that people smell and instantly think of you? Well I did and I have found it. I had been searching for years for a perfume I loved and had not been lucky at all. I found most scents to be either too sweet, or too musky both of which I don't like. I really wanted something that was so me. Something I would wear for a very long time. So one day I bought a new issue of Stellar Magazine and inside was a little sample of Thierry Muglers' Perfume Alien. Now you may know him from his gorgeous scent Angel (I really like this one too but have never purchased it) and this one is just as perfect. As soon as I had sniffed the pleasant little sample I knew I needed this in my life. It was the one. Haha a tad over dramatic but hey, I love it!

So when my 21st rolled around I decided to treat myself to this. I purchased it here in Adelaide and the 60ml retails for around $90 , steep I know.. At home in Ireland though I believe this costs in or around 57 euros, so not too bad. As I am terrible at describing scents, I will let the Perfume Shop describe it too you guys. "A rich floral woody amber containing jasmine sambac, cashmeran wood and white amber, its a fragrance who's magic trails awaken your emotions". Deep eh? Haha. It is also described as being mysterious which I think fits this perfectly!

Even the bottle just screams mystery and its one of the most beautiful bottles I have seen. A deep purple and gold makes this bottle look like an actual gem. Who could resist that?

Let me know what your favourite perfumes are and if any of you love Alien ad much as I do :)

The return of the terrible blogger.

Hey guys! I just wanted to update you all on what's been going on! I have been without Internet now for the past month almost and so I have not been able to post anything :( Not to worry though, we should have Internet in our house in the next few days and you can expect me to be posting much more frequently! It has been a rough month to be honest, I have had some sad times and bad times recently. I have made loads of amazing new friends and I have also lost someone very dear to me, my grandfather. It has been even more difficult due to me being in Australia and not being able to go home for the funeral. The joys of having no money. But alas, that is life. I plan on doing so much more with this blog in the next coming months. I hope to do more fashion posts, fitness posts and general life updates along with the usual makeup reviews and hauls. I hope you guys stick with me even though I truly am a horrific blogger. :) thanks guys!
